The International Law & Practice Section draws its members from a wide array of practice areas. The common thread is our members’ interest in international legal issues as well as international affairs. Attorneys practicing in the transactional areas, immigration/employment law, in-house representation and general business, among others, have been mainstays of our Section since its inception.
Recognizing that North Carolina is an integral part of the world economy, our members rely on the Section for maintaining contacts that are valuable in their practices and awareness of trends in the global marketplace that will impact them and their clients.
We invite all members of the Bar Association to participate in our Section, whether they devote a significant or only a small portion of their practice to international law matters. It’s a group that you will enjoy and of which you will be glad to be part.
This web page is designed to permit easy access to some of the resources available through our Section. The “Hot Links” area of the page contains some of the resources that we find helpful in our practices. The link to the various forums give you an opportunity to float ideas, questions and observations with others similarly situated. We invite you to become an active participant in using those and in our Section.
